With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Van Shelton of Grandview, Missouri, who passed away on June 12, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Shelton; his parents, Orval Van and Celia C Wansing Shelton; his sister Marion Lynch; and his brother-in-law Larry Lynch.

He is survived by: his daughter Ann Welsh (Mark) of Spring Garden; his grandchildren, Levi Welsh (Caitlin), Luke Welsh, Neely Welsh, John Welsh, Jacob Welsh and Sarah Welsh; his great grandchild Rhett Welsh; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Castor (Fred) of Camdenton, MO and Joyce Halbrook (Jim) of Clinton, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
