He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heard and Cora Heard (Kirby); his wife Ruby Erleen Poese; and his sisters, Mildred Ranard and Alice Dempsey.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Karen), Wayne (Tabitha) and Keith (Cher); his grandchildren, Aaron Heard, Emily Topi (Matt), Kellie Cram (Jay), Krista Stephens (Blake) and Katie Heard; his great grandchildren, Leighton Heard, Olivia Cram, Lukas, Lydia Topi and Myles Stephens; his brother Sam Heard; and his brother-in-law Doug Dempsey.
