He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Patton and Vincil Patton; his sister Hazel Laverne; and his wife Joan (Westerman). He is survived by: his children, Kevin Patton (Jennifer) and Joanna Grote (Mark); his grandchildren, James Riegel (Hayley), Timothy Patton and Abby Spence (Tom); his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Wyatt and Morgen; his sisters, Virginia and Doris Gene; and his brother-in-law Doyle Schrader, Jr. Westerman (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
