With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael William Deery of Gladstone, Missouri, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2022 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael William Deery to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Deery and Catherine Deery (Carey) of County Donegal, Ireland.; his sisters, Eileen Deery, Margaret Mary Meagher (Thomas), Cathleen Sweeney and Claire Rudden (John); his sisters-in-law, Grace Orlikowski (Mickey), Josephine McGlynn (Dennis), Pauline Bazan and Mary Letourneau (Marcel); and his nephew Terence Meagher.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine Deery; his children, Patricia Deery Kurtz (John) of Kansas City, William Michael Deery of Hollywood, FL and Michael John Deery of Hollywood, FL; his grandchildren, Sean Deery and Jaime McDermott (Joseph); his great grandchildren, Brodie, Morgan and Joseph McDermott; and his brother-in-law William Sweeney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
