Elizabeth Jane Hancock Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Jane Hancock (Gladstone, Missouri), who passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Maisch and Laura Ogeal Bourassa Maisch; her husband William Claude Hancock; her son Patrick Neal Hancock; and her brother Jerry Lee Maisch.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Lee Hancock (Brenda) and Peggy Hancock Kinder (Steven); her sisters, Patricia Brollier and Barbara Brendalson; her grandchildren, Michael Holmes, Tamara Cole, Phillip Hancock, Brian Hancock, William Hancock, William Kinder and Joseph Kinder; and her children, Orphanage (Home), Billy Mills and Running Strong. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the organizations Elizabeth supported: Murrow Indian Children's Orphanage (Home) in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Billy Mills' Running Strong program for Native American youths.
