She was predeceased by: her father Carl James Harris. She is survived by: her mother Bettie Harris (McMillan) of Overland Park, KS; her son Logan Richard of Independence; her siblings, Jack Harris of Kansas City, Jodie Armstrong (Michael) of Arizona, Eran Harris of Lee's Summit and Terri Harper of Montana; her grandchildren, Callie and Johnny; her aunt Mary Weldon of Gallatin; her friends, Roxanne and Belinda; and also Brandy Roberson (Kevin) of Holden. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses. Contributions can be made online through GoFundMe (link below).

“My Dear Jami, Been looking for you, heard I might find you here I'm late. I was your first best friend... 3rd grade; we smoked cigarettes, cursed watched Clint Eastwood movies. Played sports, we knew music, danced like MJ. Bummed we werent at Woodstock dressed like we were. Went thru formative years by JrHi. For that I will always be grateful. High School went separate ways but in touch. If I saw you today I would know you. A beautiful young old soul at the same time. I will find you again.”
