He is survived by: his daughter Regina Hampton of Swansea, SC; his granddaughter Jessie Hampton (Seth Hoffman); his great grandchild Amelia Hoffman; and his siblings, Bill Carter of Festus, Loyd Carter (Bonnie) of Bowling Green, KY, Garry Carter (Sandy) of Jackson, Larry Carter of Lodi and Verna Kay Ward (Jerry) of St. Louis. He is also survived by his family and friends.
