She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis August and Georgia Faye Schanda (Hinkle); and her sister-in-law Evelyn Carey. She is survived by: her brother William Schanda; and her nephews, Porcius Schanda, Billy Schanda (Becca), Silver Schanda and Ace Schanda. She is also survived by four great-nephews and one great niece.
