He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lewis and Annie Lewis (Adams); his siblings, Ralph Lewis, Clifton Lewis, Kenneth Lewis and Maureen Middlecoop; and his grandson Travis Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lewis (Reeves); and his children, David Lewis, Roger Lewis, Herbert "Herbie" Lewis Jr. and Carol Lewis. He is also survived by grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
