He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Stene and Gladys Stene (Bogart); his wife Shirley; his siblings, Leland Stene and Ann Bangen; his brother-in-law Duane Bangen; his stepdaughter Connie; his grandson Garrett Anderson; and his grandparents, Annie Mae, George Jason Bogart, Gust and Carrie Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Dale Stene; his stepchildren, Linda, Jim, Steve, Mike, Larry, Mark and Gary Anderson; his sisters, Karen Stelton and Kathy Treat; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Stelton and Vern Treat. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
