She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert R. M. D. and Celeste East Atherton; and her brother Herbert M. Atherton. She is survived by: her niece Victoria Logsdon (Justin); her nephew James Atherton (Sarah Jay); her great-nephews, William, Gabriel and Malcolm; and her great-niece Elizabeth.
