He is survived by: his wife Carol Matthiesen; his children, Darren Matthiesen of Forsyth and Jill Stuart (Cort) of Galena; his grandchildren, Hailey Clay (Dom) and Hunter Stuart; and his siblings, Ted Matthiesen (Celia) of St. Peters and Gaye Nease of Nashville, Tennessee..
