He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara M. Gutman; his parents, Lawrence Sr. Gutman and Jeanette Gutman; his parents-in-law, John and Corrine McDonald; his siblings, Lawrence Gutman Jr. and Linda Gerber; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Saunders (Chuck) and Ken McDonald (Judy).
He is survived by: his children, Gene Gutman Jr., Sherry Presson (Dan), Dennis Gutman and Robin Gutman (Kathy); his grandchildren, Shannon, Meghan, Tyler, Christopher, Alex, Austin, Danielle and Amanda; his great grandchild Cameron; his sister Audrey Paschall (late Walter); and his siblings-in-law, Mai Gutman, Henry Gerber, Maureen Stranz, Michael McDonald (Barb), Helen McDonald (late Pat) and Bob Piant (late Jean).
