She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore, Sr. Cothran and Geneva Cothran. She is survived by: her husband Alan Clay Sr.; her sons, Alan Clay Jr. (Shanel), Kenneth Clay and Lawrence Clay (Vanecia); her grandchildren, Avianne Clay, Corey Clay, Chelsea Devonshire-Clay (Jennifer), Alan Clay III, Kenneth Clay, Tristen Clay, Lawrence Clay, Sydney Clay and Indigo Griffith; and her great grandchildren, Jace Cruise and Alaïa Liggans.
