He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kretschmar and Charlotte Kretschmar; his sister Joan Kretschmar Bauer; and his grandchild Dale Richard Kretschmar Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his pet Maggie; and his grandchildren, Laura Strasser Kretschmar, Paige, Carl III, Dean, Maggie Kretschmar, Dylan, Charis and Hannah.
