With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Gwynn of Florissant, Missouri, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McGaughy and Victoria McGaughy; her husband John Gwynn; her sons, Charles Edward Gwynn and Alfred; her grandson Joseph Gwynn; and her siblings, Renee Taylor, Brenda Anderson, Gwen Joyner, Tony McGaughy and Terry McGaughy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joann Skeaton of Urban Crest and Alonda D. Gwynn-Tate of Florissant, Missouri; her grandchildren, Sean Howton, Denisha M. Gwynn, Chiquita Samuel, Sheena Gwynn, Madina Castleman (Louis), Kenneth Skeaton, Jeanna Gwynn-Williams, Chanel Gwynn-Williams, Shawn Edwards and Jamall Edwards (Karen); her sister Gloria Hurt; and her sister-in-law Brenda McGaughy. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends.
