He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher J. Haarmann and Mildred W. "Henke" Haarmann; and his siblings, Ronnie, Christopher Jr. Haarmann and Genie Haarmann.
He is survived by: his close friend Debra Hayes; his sons, Richard "Rick" Haarmann (Lisa), David Haarmann, Sr. and Anthony "Tony" Haarmann (Susie); his grandchildren, Sarah, Jennifer, Laura, Bruce, David Jr., Chelsea and Christopher Haarmann; and his sister Patsy Massey (Carl). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
