He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cassity and Frances White Cassity; his wife Ruby J. McGraw Peel; his stepmother Mildred Cassity; and his sons-in-law, Rick Skibinski and Clarence Witges.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Cassity of Radom, IL, Brian Cassity (Mary Beth) of Tamaroa, IL, Cheryl Skibinski of Ashley, IL and Bonnie Witges of Scheller, IL; his grandchildren, Shawn Chesnek, Kami Fairchild, Jordan Chesnek, Chelsey Woodside, Kyle Cassity, Jacob Skibinski, Sara Lamczyk, Brian Witges and Caleb Witges; his stepsons, Brad Peel (Robin) of Robertsville, MO and Gary Peel of St. Charles, MO; his stepgrandchildren, Allison Peel, Jonathan Peel and Brett Peel; and his brothers, Robert (Bob) and Don Cassity (Donna) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
