He is survived by: his wife Phyllis LaPlant (Blankenship); his children, Anthony "Tony" LaPlant (Michelle), Leslie Fischbeck (Mark) and Nicole Dowell (Ryan); his grandchildren, Tyler LaPlant, Chase Fischbeck, Tristan Fischbeck, Taylor Bowling (Brayden), Lily Dowell, Hadley Dowell and Daphne Lapierre; his great grandchild Liam LaPlant; his son-in-law Didier Lapierre; and his sister-in-law Ann LaPlant (McDowell).
