He was predeceased by: his father Alfred William Tanner; and his brother John Tanner. He is survived by: his mother Lee Ann Thornton (Swink); his children, Zach Tanner of Texas and Briana Broderick of Texas; and his sisters, Carol Mays, Jean Gallo (Glen) and Cathy Hargrove (Jim). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and good friends.
