He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Clark (Nobby) and Scott McLaughlin (Lawna); his stepchildren, Shayne Keddy (Teresa) and Shyre Lancia; his granddaughters, Winter McLaughlin, Keira Lancia, Miriya McLaughlin, Logyn Clark and Gwyn Keddy; his wife Bonnie McLaughlin; his siblings, Murial Wiley and Lorne McLaughlin; his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Wiley, Ross Reid and Diane McLaughlin; his nieces and nephews, Candace McLaughlin, Kara Gosselin, Shaun McLaughlin, Marlon Reid, Shane McLaughlin, Wade Wiley, Dallas Reid and Darren Reid; and his close friends, Wayne, Rossana Bloomquist, Vic Friesen, Dave Dickson, Rob and Christine Kitching.
