He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Safarik and Edna Safarik (Thimmesch); and his brothers, Leslie Safarik, David Safarik and Larry Safarik.
He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Safarik of San Diego, CA, Mike Safarik of Wichita, KS and Dann Safarik (Katherine) of Wichita, KS; his granddaughter Sarah Jane Safarik of San Diego, CA; his siblings, Elaine Safarik of Carrollton, TX, Linda Ueeck (Bill) of Cleveland, TX and Allan Safarik (Julie) of Valley Center, KS; and his pet Bitsy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
