He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Orville and Bessie Irene McFarland (Powell); his wife Charmaine McFarland (Cook); his daughter Laura Ann; and his brother Teddy Charles McFarland.
He is survived by: his children, John McFarland (Cindy), Patrick McFarland (Sharon) and Maria Murdock; his grandchildren, Megan, Evan, Ken, Rebecca, Sean and Lisa; and his great grandchildren, Makayla, Shae, Hutson, Jax, Neko and Ava. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
