He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Esser and Alma Esser (Jordan); his wife Susan Smith; his children, John C Esser (Lisa) of Nebraska City, Fred Esser (Stacie) of Piedmont, Missouri and Cindy Frantz (Carl) of Derby, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Chris Esser (Traci), Justin Frantz, Jordan Frantz, Nick Esser and Haylee Esser.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to The Salvation Army, the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Heart Association.
