She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Sutton and Nova Lee Copeland Sutton; her siblings, Shannon Barton, Carol Smith, Edgar Sutton and Curney Sutton; and her stepdaughter Jan Wood.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Edwin Swyers; her children, Debra Douglas of Troy, MO, Patricia Settles (Bud Hellmann) of Wentzville, MO, Michelle Creech (Scott West) of Troy and Kevin Pingleton (Sandi) of St. Peters, MO; her stepdaughter Kathy Swyers of O'Fallon, MO; and her sister Mary Martin of Rolla, MO. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
