He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Brown Benjamin Andrew and Violet Pruitt; his sisters, Wanda Ham, Violet Fern Carmichael, Bonnie Gilbert, Naomia Farrow, Marie Henderson and Corene Barnet; his daughter Candace Mae Pruitt; his wife Regina Pruitt of Elsberry; his children, Scott Pruitt (Diann) of Elsberry, Johnny Pruitt, Jr. (Amy) of Stillwell, OK, Jim Pruitt (Alicia), Janet Pruitt and Felicia Adams (Levi) of Elsberry; his brothers, Phillip Pruitt (Peggy) of Drumright, OK and Dowe Pruitt (Wendy) of Rogers, AR; and his sister-in-law Betty Pruitt of Oklahoma City, OK. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
