She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Brinkschulte and Norma Brandt Brinkschulte; her grandson Gary Wayne Nelsen; her son-in-law Vince Spaziano; and her husband Alfred Nelsen, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Don Nelsen (Cathy) of Elsberry, Sue Spaziano of Lake St, Sandra Nelsen of Antioch, CA, Alfred Nelsen III (Donna) of Elsberry and Sherry Hart (Chris). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
