He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph "Buster" Oliver Merriman and Nada Frances Merriman (McGinness). He is survived by: his children, Frank Merriman of Seymour, Nancy Biondo (Brad) of Elsberry, Scott Merriman (Betty) of Onaga, Patrick Merriman, Donnie Merriman of Topeka and Michael Merriman of Independence; his siblings, Kenneth Merriman (Wilma) of Clinton, Judy Siercks of Windsor and Jean Bybee (Ron) of Deepwater; and his aunt Georgia Williams of Clinton. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and countless great grandchildren.
