She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hammett and Etta Mae Graves Hammett; her sister Betty Jones; her grandson Matthew Ebert; and her son-in-law Joseph Grotpeter.

She is survived by: her husband Boyd Lawrence Cagle; her daughters, Patricia Grotpeter of Warrenton, MO, Melba Ebert of Vandalia, MO and Renee Schappe (Dan) of Elsberry; and her grandchildren, Melinda Heggemann and Jeffrey Grotpeter. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren; and many friends.

Memorials may be made to the Family of Doris Cagle to assist with funeral expenses in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 S. 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
