He is survived by: his wife Renee Schappe of Elsberry; his brother Donald Schappe of Moscow Mills, MO; his niece Katie Walters (Nicholas) of Arnold, MO; his nephew Jon Schappe of Elsberry; and his great-nieces, Isabella and Teagan Walters. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
