He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clarence and Grace Barrett Stephens of Arizona; his siblings, Helen Denbow, Clarence Stephens, Jr., Etta Stephens, Harman Stephens, Juanita Atwell, Melvin Stephens and Haselteen Brown; and his son Charles Joseph "CJ" Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Stephens (Kathy) of Annada, MO, Bekki Joseph (Tom) of Foley, MO and Paula Stephens of Troy, MO; his grandchildren, Heather Barber (Richard), Jesse Butts, Jared Moyer (Crystal), Josh Moyer and Kelsey Hilscher (Michael); his great grandchildren, Meghan, Emily, Job, Addie, Miles, Gabriella and Abel; and his brother Larry Stephens (Jeanne) of Eddieville, KY. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
