He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woodrow O'Berry and Bessie Blanche O'Berry (Harrington); and his sisters, Gayle O'Berry and Bessie Nelle Prindle. He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean O'Berry of Oates; his children, Shawn O'Berry of Houston, Jacob O'Berry (Rachel) of Pleasant Plain, Robert O'Berry (Jessica) of Chillicothe, Heather O'Berry of Oregon, Sarah Robbins (Dave) of Broken Arrow and Moya; and his siblings, Kelly O'Berry of Redmond, James "Bo" O'Berry of Salem, Tom O'Berry of Durant and Cinda Richter of Kansas City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, relatives and many friends.
