He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Florence; his spouse Tyrrah Bailey; and also Martha Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Roy Higgins, Jr. of East Prairie, Johnny Higgins of East Prairie, Gary Higgins of New Madrid, Kevin Higgins of Fort Worth, Texas, Patricia Hatton of Bertrand, Stephanie Higgins of East Prairie, Sharon Davis of Doniphan and Kathy Kirkpatrick of Bernie, Missouri; and his sister Donna Clark Haynes of Dexter, Missouri.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
