He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Grubbs and Nellie Grounds Grubbs; and his son Mark Grubbs. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Matheney; his children, Michael Grubbs of East Prairie and Mary Stults Hankinson of Kathleen, Georgia; his brother Jerry Grubbs of East Prairie; his grandchildren, Chris, Tyler Mullins, Logan, Luke Grubbs, Brandon and Vanessa Hankinson; and his great grandchildren, Aubree and Emmeri Patrick.
