She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rodger Charles Self; her daughter Katy; her son-in-law Johnny Layton of Charleston; her grandsons, Ethan John Layton and Jacob Edward Layton of Charleston; and her siblings, Roland Grissom, Wesley Grissom of East Prairie, Mike Grissom of Anniston, Martha Aters of East Prairie, Ruth Christian of East Prairie, Penny Pearson of East Prairie, Linda Dillow of Scott City, Rhonda Ling of Kewanee and Charles Grissom. She was also cherished by ten children, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
