She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Gentles and Jean Eulene Pugh Gentles; her husband Ronald Leroy Emerick; her grandchildren, Thomas Jean Davidson and Amiya Tolson; and her siblings, Dalton Gentles, Ray Gentles, Joyce Gentles, Linda Chisenall and Pauline Lasters.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Martin Davidson of Fingerville, SC, Charlotte Jean Davidson Phillips of Hazlehurst, MS and Jody Inez Pruett of East Prairie; and her siblings, Jim Gentles of Shawneetown, IL, Wayne Gentles (Karen) of East Prairie and Charlotte Keller (Mike) of East Prairie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
