It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Elouise Holmes of Doniphan, Missouri, born in Princeville, Illinois, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Messersmith and Leona Messersmith (King); her spouse Louie Holmes, Jr.; and her brothers, Donald and Leroy Messersmith.

She is survived by: her son Todd Holmes (Brenda) of Fairdealing, MO; her granddaughters, Melinda Mayberry (Tanner) of Bernie, MO and Michelle Stewart (Caleb) of Doniphan; and her great grandchildren, Ella and Malachi.
