He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hampton and Minnie Hampton (Pickens); his children, Melba Coleman, Eddie Hampton and Kathy Hampton; and his siblings, Elsie Brown, Vernon and Truman Hampton.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Barton (Kelly) of Doniphan; his sister Opal Lomax of Doniphan; his grandchildren, Richard Coleman, Melisa Pulliam and Bryan Barton; and his great grandchildren, Javier, Julie, Jackie, Mya and Benjamin.
