She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tharp and Mattie Estelle Tharp (Hughes); her husband Don C. Menard; her sons, Lyle Allen Menard and William Lafayette Menard; her granddaughter Mia Neugent Riley (Menard); and her brothers, Paul A. Tharp and Russell Tharp.
She is survived by: her children, Orville Rex Menard (Marilyn) of Doniphan, Missouri., Melody Andersen (Bob) of Jonesboro and E. Paulette Stubbs (Bob) of Westfield, Indiana.; and her siblings, Rev. James W. Tharp of Bozeman, Montana, Anniece Shelburne of Westfield, Burl Tharp of Kirklin, Carroll Tharp of Lawrensville, Joe Tharp of Frankfort, Shirley Abraham of Bardstown and Martha Beecher of Davison, Michigan.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
