It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Earl Staggs (Doniphan, Missouri), born in Rector, Arkansas, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Staggs and Mirtie Staggs (Gibson); his siblings, Holly, Doris, Jay, Sybil, Herman, John, Toni and Herbert; and his children, Richard, Ramona, Robert, Deborah and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Francis Phillips; his son Troy; and his grandchildren, Michelle Adams, Christopher Hodo, Casey Parker (Michelle), Wesley Staggs (Ashley), Crystal Box (Jeremy), Brittany Staggs-Collins (Jordon), Sarah Staggs, Cody Shilling and Haley Staggs. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
