It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Janetta Smith of Doniphan, Missouri, born in Campbell, Missouri, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Powers and Lara Lillian Pyles (Rudder); her husband Howard Smith; and her son Charles Powers. She is survived by: her children, Anita Perez of San Antonio, TX, Roger Powers of Doniphan and William Powers of Doniphan; and her brothers, Leroy Pyles of Poplar Bluff, MO and Gale Pyles of Joliet, IL. She is also survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
