With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ayra Ann Nelson of Doniphan, Missouri, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on May 7, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luean and Gladys (Forrest); her husband Billy "Dud" Nelson; her siblings, Harold Roark and Linda Kay Carmickle; and her daughter-in-law Linda Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Nelson of Doniphan, MO, Gary Nelson (Ellen) of Gatewood, MO, Richard Nelson (Vicki) of Maynard and Pamela Shelley (Bill) of Doniphan, MO; her grandchildren, Andy Nelson, Kristy Wright, Becky Shock, Melissa Hudson, Deana Barton, Leslie Breuning, Brian Nelson and Kaylene Shelley; and her sister Phyllis Siegler of Benton, AR. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
