He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Edward G. Dewein Jr. and Helen Dewein (Schwarz). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ruth; his children, Edward (Laura), Eric (Rebecca), Dr. Kathryn Dewein (Marty Graham) and Dr. Matthieu Dewein (Elizabeth Mendoza); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Jeanny), Madeline and Kendall; his great grandchildren, Gabriella Harris, Hezekiah and Gianna; his siblings, Gregory Dewein (Mary) and Sue Winston (late Patrick Winston); and also, Ed and Margaret Ruth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association or The Music Program at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Ladue.
