It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Voss of Cuba, Missouri, born in Sullivan, Missouri, who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Voss and Edith Voss (Fortner); his former wife Karen Voss (Thompson); his son Jason Voss; and his sisters, Mary Bernard, Virginia Swab and Debbie Voss.
He is survived by: his former wife Karen Thompson; his wife Mary Widener (Rush); his children, Joe (Dianna Voss) of Cuba, Debbie Voss of Cuba, Josh Widener of Cuba and Ben (Leeanne Widener) of Bourbon; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Voss of Cuba; his grandchildren, Jodi (Adam Rutz), Justice, Jayden, Samantha, Jacob Voss, Brendan, Lydia, Rhys and Dana Widener; his great grandchildren, Elsie and Whitlee Rutz; and his sister Francis Voss of Denver, Colorado. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
