He is survived by: his children, Melissa (David Sowrheaver) of Washington, Roy (Amanda Scharfenberg) of Texas, Sharon (CJ Clendenin) of Georgia, Debra (Jo Reed) of Chamois and Katherine Reed of Texas; and his brothers, Daniel Scharfenberg of Washington, Richard Scharfenberg of Union and Wade (Rebecca Scharfenberg) of Cuba, Missouri. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
