He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lindeman and Caroline Lindeman (Theissman); his son Jim Lindemann; and his siblings, Arletta Knoll, Margaret Hurt, Jeanne Dowd, Doris Lindemann, Carol Przygoda, Paul Lindemann and John "Jack" Lindemann.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Lindemann of St. Louis, Steve Lindemann of Austin, Karen (Bob Shymanski) of St. Louis, Jeff (Kim Lindemann) of St. Louis, Craig Lindemann of Cuba, Ed Lindemann of Cuba and Kathryn "Kit" Lindemann (John McMillian) of St. Louis. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
