With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Brewer of Cuba, Missouri, who passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gentry Hutson and Georgia Elma Warfel Hutson; her parents-in-law, Lawrence and Florence Brewer; her siblings, Harvey Hutson (Bertha), Roy Hutson (Hazel), Lawrence Hutson, Carl Hutson, Louis Hutson (Juanita), Harlan "Jack" Hutson, Charles Hutson, Ruthine Prater (Bob) and Wilma Shirley (Jerry); and her brothers-in-law, Owen Chandler and Stanley Brewer.

She is survived by: her husband Vesper Brewer of Cuba, MO; her children, Debbie Crocker (David) of Tyler, TX and Donald Brockmeier (Emy Collins) of Cuba, MO; her grandchildren, Mathew Brockmeier (Rachel) of Cuba, MO, Randi Spurgeon (Mark) of Cuba, MO and Alex Bryan of Springfield, MO; her great grandchildren, Jacob of Cuba, MO, Tatum of Cuba, MO, Eli Brockmeier of Cuba, MO, Landin of Cuba, MO, Harper of Cuba, MO, Wyatt Spurgeon of Cuba, MO, Charlotte of Springfield, MO, Dustin of Springfield, MO and Adelaide Bryan of Springfield, MO; her siblings, Richard Hutson and Iona Alvey (Bill) of Cuba, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Hutson of Maplewood, MO, Mildred Brewer of Cuba, MO and Patricia Chandler of St. James, MO. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
