He was predeceased by: his mother Lisa Kay Cothran Montgomery; and his grandparents, Jerry Montgomery, Sr., Ann Karpowecz and Lawrence "Larry" Cothran. He is survived by: his father James "Jimmy" Montgomery, I (Claudia); his grandparents, Shirley Cothran of Steelville, MO, Ron of Steelville, MO and Judy Poncet of Steelville, MO; his siblings, Jonathan Weber (Cynthia) of Spring, TX, Samantha Stringer (Frank Pearman) of Steelville, MO, Jaclyn Campos (Tony) of Cuba, MO and Jenna Montgomery of Cuba, MO; his aunts and uncles, Sheri Pogorzelski (John) of Arnold, MO, Jerry Montgomery (Melanie) of Cuba, MO, John Cothran (Traci) of Springfield, MO, Greg Poncet (Julie) of St. Louis, MO and Laura Whitley (Wes) of Spring, TX; his nephews, Rylee Stringer, Eli Weber, Ezra Weber, Owen Carey and Cyrus Montgomery; and his niece Marly Stringer. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Cuba Animal Shelter or Santana's Hope 4 Paws, Steelville, MO.
