He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelsy Carl and Floy Badgley Carl; his wife Shirley Carl; his parents-in-law, Noah and Edna Christian; his sisters, Norma Smith (Cecil) and Cleo Harris (Dan); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Simmons and Pat Christian.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Carl, Sr. (Shelia) of Freeman, MO and Andrea Carl of Cuba, MO; his grandchildren, Randall Carl, Jr. (Koren Tarwater) of Adrian, MO, Christian Carl of Freeman, MO and Whitney Carl (Shane McBee) of Freeman, MO; his great grandchildren, Taylyn Fletcher, Elowyn McBee of Freeman, MO, Shawn Tarwater of Adrian, MO and Cian Tarwater Carl of Adrian, MO; his brother Jerry Carl (Juanita) of Dorchester, IL; his brother-in-law Jim Christian of Imperial, MO; and also Pete Traina of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Memorials were suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
