He is survived by: his children, Ron (Shelly Schroeder) of Cuba, Ruth Nichols of Stanton, Ray (Alice Schroeder) of Belle, Julie (Shannon Doyle) of Cuba and Jenny Webster of Bourbon; his daughter-in-law Sissy Schroeder of Bland; and his sister-in-law Nellie Schroeder. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and many friends.
